7 Quotes By Tony Robbins That Will Help You Unleash Your Full Potential

If applied, they might just change your life.

Undoubtedly, Tony Robbins is the most known motivational speaker of our time. He is a bestselling author, a life and business coach, and one of the few people who have touched the lives of millions of people.

This year, on the 29th of February, he is celebrating his 60th birthday while still rocking stages and impacting thousands of lives every year.

Live life fully while you’re here. Experience everything. Take care of yourself and your friends. Have fun, be crazy, be weird. Go out and screw up! You’re going to die anyway, so you might as well enjoy the process. Take the opportunity to learn from your mistakes: find the cause of your problem and eliminate it. Don’t try to be perfect; just be an excellent example of being human.

No matter if you like Robbins and his provocative style or not, there is a lot we all can learn from his teachings. He is one of the people who has created incredible amounts of personal development content and if you like his style, you could probably watch his videos, read his books and listen to his podcasts for years.

That being said, below are some of my most favorite Tony Robbins quotes, how they impacted my life and how you can apply them to ours.

When you are grateful, fear disappears and abundance appears.”

When we live in fear and keep reminding ourselves of what we lack, that’s precisely what we attract even more into our lives: more fear and more lack.

If, however, we start counting our blessings, we see more of them, and we also attract more of them to us on a daily basis.

How to apply this quote:

My personal preference is journaling. I love writing down what I am grateful for at least once a day. This doesn’t take more than five minutes, and it helps me to shift my focus on the positive and all the abundance in my life.

We always face struggle. That’s part of our lives and totally normal, but it’s up to us whether we focus on the negative or the positive.

For me, journaling and writing down my thoughts is the most effective way to shift my perspective and focus on the positive. By writing down my blessings and powerful affirmations, I can change my mind in just a few minutes and ensure to focus my energy on gaining instead of lacking.

Every problem is a gift — without problems, we would not grow.

What we often forget is that problems are a normal part of our daily lives. Without ups and downs, our lives would be so monotonous that living would probably not be fun at all.

Facing challenges, finding solutions, and growing out of difficult situations is fun. And learning from experience is the most effective form of personal growth that exists.

You can read hundreds of books, watch thousands of videos and visit several seminars per year and they may all be great, but they won’t have the same effect as making your own experiences through finding solutions to real-life problems.

How to apply this quote:

Stop running away from problems, and instead turn yourself into a problem-solver.

Once you made this mental shift, you’ll realize how much easier life can become. You will be able to stay calm when others freak out, and instead of putting yourself in the position of a victim, you will be the one who solves your issues.

The path to success is to take massive, determined action.

Whatever change you are trying to make, it always comes down to your actions. Having the greatest plans and a killer-mindset won’t help if you don’t do what you’re talking about.

You can’t manifest a great career, the love of your dreams, or a healthy body if all you do is sit on the couch all day long.

How to apply this quote:

Create habits that ensure you’ll get to your goals by taking effective measures every single day.

In essence, if we want to direct our lives, we must take control of our consistent actions. It’s not what we do once in a while that shapes our lives, but what we do consistently.

Eating a burger once in a while won’t make you fat. And hitting the gym once in a while won’t shape your body. What you do every day, however, is what shapes your life.

Just reflect on yesterday: What did your day look like? Now, imagine repeating that exact same day for one year. How is your life going to look twelve months from now?

If you don’t like what you imagined, you might want to make some significant changes to all the activities you repeat every single day.

How to apply this quote:

Once they are established, positive habits will make your life easier and help you to achieve your goals with relaxation.

Focus on where you want to go, not on what you fear.

Instead of focusing on a positive vision, they keep reminding themselves of their fears. As a result, they don’t take any action and keep living a life that they don’t fully enjoy.

Again, ask yourself where your fears have led you so far. If you are not happy with your current situation, it’s probably because you’ve been afraid to make major changes so far.

How to apply this quote:

Instead of spending your energy on your fears, get excited about a vision that empowers you, and spend your mental energy on visualizing your ideal future.

It is in your moments of decision that your destiny is shaped. ”

Why? Because responsibility means power.

While everyone wants to win and be accountable for positive outcomes, nobody wants to be responsible for failure. That’s why so many people choose to stay average and don’t make solid decisions at all.

How to apply this quote:

Be aware that successful people can make important decisions quickly and strengthen their decision-making skills in everyday situations. For example, limit your time when choosing a meal in the restaurant or when choosing what to wear. By challenging yourself in those insignificant situations, you will prepare yourself to make quick decisions in critical situations as well.

Our beliefs about what we are and what we can be precisely determine what we can be.”

Whatever you focus on, you will become. That’s one of the universal laws, and it applies to anyone at any time. You can’t deny it, but you learn to work with it.

How to apply this quote:

Most of the time, when we produce bad results, it’s because we are thinking of bad thoughts. If you focus your mind on the positive and your desired outcome and take the necessary action, your success becomes inevitable.
